Christ Jesus,
His sorrow,
In His trouble not amazing,
Born of woman,
Born of the Virgin,
He wept,
On Christ's grief
"A Cup of Glory Drinking"
I share His grief deeply.
Christ wounds both wound and heal me,
He enkindle, cleanse, and heal me,
His Holy Cross my hope,
"A Cup of Glory Drinking"
I come to the feet of my Lord,
My Lord Christ Jesus,
Shield me on the judgment day,
Hoping for lasting salvation.
