All Saints' Day is a Solemn Holy Day of the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church celebrated annually on November 1st as Christians pray for aid through the intercession of all the Saints. November 1st  is dedicated to all the Saints of the Church, that is, all those who have attained the glory of Heaven.

A Saint is a person whom a Church has officially recognized as especially holy one who had remarkable piousness during his/her life on earth. "A Saint is One Who Had a Cheerful and Useful Life; One with Total Goodness" is one of the persons to have lived on earth and did his/her best while living and a blessed in Heaven. Canonization to recognize someone as a Saint by the Church sharing the gift of Sainthood is tremendous the state of being a Saint living with God in Heaven.

All Saints' Day observances tend to focus on known Saints that is those recognized in the canon of the Saints by the Catholic Church, but there are also Saints who are in Heaven but whose names are not in the canon of the Saints we also commemorate them all today November 1st emulating their way of good life.

All Saints' Day is a Catholic Holy Day of Obligation, all Catholic Christians are demanded to attend Holy Mass on this day, unless they have an excellent excuse that can desist them from attending the Holy Mass, such as serious illness. We pray on this day so that we may live a worthy life that will make us to be Saints in Heaven.

All Saints' Day was formally started by Pope Boniface IV, who consecrated the Pantheon at Rome to the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the Martyrs on May 13th 609 AD. It was Pope Boniface IV who also designated All Souls' Day [November 2nd], which follows the Day of all Saints.
