It's a beauteous moment and even in the history of Humanity it will be beauteous After 25 good years of serving as the Archbishop of Gulu, His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama retired as Archbishop of the Holy Catholic Church on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 according to Pope Francis' letter that was read to the Christians at St. Joseph's Cathedral, Gulu. His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama is still serving as the Apostolic Administrator of Gulu Archdiocese until Bishop Raphael P'Mony Wokorach is installed and the imposition of the pallium is promptly done with the date set to be Friday, July 12th, 2024 at St. Joseph's Cathedral, Gulu.

We'll remember the date of his installation as the First Metropolitan Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese [April 10th, 1999] when we received the lovely Archbishop one who worked for all the people and put in his human heart much love for Humanity remained faithful to God, and became peaceful in his life day and night. Archbishop Emeritus Dr. John Baptist Odama remains in our hearts and minds forever." The Lovely Prelate of our time was most significant towards the need for peace in Acoli and Northern Uganda at large when we had lost our hope completely as the Government of Uganda and the Lord's Resistance Army [LRA] rebels. He left the comfort of the Archbishop's Residence and spent four nights in Gulu bus park together with children from the rebels we had a situation where insurgency left us without total peace in Acoli and Northern Uganda, His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama never remained silent together with other Religious and Cultural Leaders and he advocated for peace day and night. "I thank God for giving human life to His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama in him I see the pastoral work that has been given to him since he was ordained a Priest on December 14th, 1974. Being a Priest and Episcopal of Christ."

As St. Joseph's Chapel Oryang Ojuma will be erected to the status of Eucharistic Centre on Sunday, May 26th, 2024 beginning with the Holy Mass at 10:00 AM and that will be presided over by the Archbishop Emeritus of Gulu Archdiocese His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama: "Christ the King Parish Kitgum Set to Bids Farewell to His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama" Christians who partake of the Holy Communion will be receiving the Eucharist every Sunday whenever they come for the Sunday Prayer "Eucharist is the strength of the Christian Faithful" and hopefully the Christians of St. Joseph's Chapel Oryang Ojuma will be strengthened with the presence of the Holy Body of Christ in their Chapel.

I have the exhilaration that we have had His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama in the Archdiocese of Gulu one from Riki Oluko Village the Archbishop who truly loves peace and unity the Archbishop with a compassionate heart the Archbishop who has been dear to Children and the Youth honouring invitations for every Youth's program including the Acoli Debate League Fundraising Dinner which took place on Saturday, December 18th, 2021. He deserves my reverence and honour.

May the Lord God bless His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama for all his tremendous pastoral work and leadership and may he get God's blessings for remaining the true Prelate to God, Church's service, and service to humanity.

May the Lord God who chose you to work in His Vineyard keep blessing you, dear Archbishop Emeritus Dr. John Baptist Odama. May He give you good health and make you feel more peaceful.
