What an exhilaration to be here!
To be where Theology is taught,
To be where the study of God takes place,
And of course the truthfulness of religion in general,
A place where a Seminarian,
Who is almost completing Theological Studies is recommended,
To become a Deacon,
A place where a Deacon,
Who has completed Theological Studies is
recommended,
To become a Priest,
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
St. Mary's National Seminary Ggaba, Kampala,
Exquisite place,
Exquisite Formation House,
It's lovely that I am here,
Having stepped into this place,
As Priests undergo,
The 6th International Priests' Retreat,
From Sunday, June 30th, 2024 to
Saturday, July 6th, 2024,
With the theme:
"Put Out into the Deep" Luke: 5:4,
If you hear Christ's instructions,
And follow them all,
"You'll always catch more like St. Peter."
What an indispensable Retreat for them!
Believably the Retreat will greatly enrich the Priests,
Who has come,
For the 6th International Priests' Retreat,
At St. Mary's National Seminary Ggaba,
In the Archdiocese of Kampala,
Priests do not work for themselves,
But rather work for Christ,
Work for God's people,
Who called them,
Much more to follow Christ's life,
Much more to follow Christ's instructions,
Much more to the first lovely Christ's adherents,
Strength and protection,
May the passion be,
The 6th International Priests Retreat:
Precious Soul of our Beloved Saviour Christ Jesus,
Our Blessed Lord,
May the Priests hear Your voice,
May the Priests trust in You,
May the Priests have a profound faith in You,
Blessed Christ Jesus,
Hear our prayers,
Answer us,
Deep in Your Holy wounds,
Later, You have saved us,
And You save every day,
Lord, hear and shelter us with Your Holy Blood,
We have become Your adherents,
We don't want to depart from You,
Let's praise You,
Together with Saints,
Together with the Holy Martyrs,
In our next life,
After this earthly life,
Reward us with the gift of eternal life.
