Holy Wednesday or Spy Wednesday is observed as a day of sorrow and fasting in Christian traditions, as well as a time to reflect on the events leading up to Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. The story of Judas Iscariot plotted his betrayal against Jesus with the Chief Priests. He was so busy doing business on Holy Wednesday. It also reminds us that he was a spy among the proponents of Jesus Christ which is sometimes called “Spy Wednesday.” He was already 30 years old and unmarried when he joined the Apostles of Jesus Christ to spread the Good News of God. It's understood that he was probably one of the best-educated Apostles of Jesus among the twelve and the only Judean in the Master's Apostolic family. It's said that Judas Iscariot had no outstanding trait of personal strength, though he had many outwardly appearing traits of culture and habits of training.
Today Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 [Holy Wednesday] commemorates the bargain of Judas as a clandestine spy among the disciples of Jesus Christ. Jesus knew every plan of Judas Iscariot with the Chief Priests. He was with Jesus for 3 years but he plotted and betrayed Jesus to the Religious Leaders and gave them the opportunity to arrest Him because he knew where Jesus lived always.
"Three Good Years with the Lord Jesus But Judas Iscariot Thought Erroneously." He had too much love for money. Judas Iscariot agrees to hand over Jesus to the Chief Priests in exchange for thirty pieces of silver. Instead of appreciating Jesus for the good deeds he plotted for betrayal. Judas Iscariot thought he could get the money from Chief Priests for betraying Jesus without him being noticed and without him being killed as he would escape like he had done many times before. There is a suggestion that Judas expected Jesus with His mission to overthrow Roman rule of Judea and this was not the case "Whereas Jesus' mission was to save mankind from sin, to bring salvation to mankind and the whole world."
