Emmanuel Nigel: "Are we going to have more Greatest Generational Leaders and Politicians of Acoli in our Time or Should we Forget?"

In an article about Okeny Tiberio Atwoma: The Greatest Acoli Politician that was written by Fr. Dr. Robert Obol Nyeko on June 28th, 2025 he writes: "All in all, I believe that the generation of Acoli Leaders and Politicians who made up the Acoli District Council in the year, 1963 were the finest and the greatest generation of the Acoli people - They were bold, creative, honest, inclusive, selfless, rooted in the historical and cultural mission of the Acoli people that leadership at all times was to be anchored and tethered on the pursuit of the common good. Above all, they were multi-generational thinkers."

"Are we going to have more Greatest Generational Leaders and Politicians of Acoli in our Time or Should we Forget?" Other leaders have become voiceless and I don't know where their minds are. Other Politicians are doing bad politics. Personally, I think in our generation we need to have more Leaders and Politicians who are typically bold, creative, honest, inclusive, selfless, rooted in the historical, and cultural mission of the Acoli people. Leaders and Politicians who have these essentials to leadership: humility, clarity, and courage. Leaders and Politicians who develop their self-awareness.

Leadership is the gift to be given to the people. Leaders and Politicians whose pursuit of the common good is greatly realized. Leaders and Politicians with vision, empathy, and love for the people are the ones that the people of Acoli need. Leaders and Politicians who always think of the people, who can empower, who can mentor, and who have people in their hearts.
