‎Today, Friday, August 7th, 2026, I joyfully celebrate the 22nd Anniversary of the Priestly Ordination of Fr. Eric Justin Uma, a Priest whose life has been a remarkable testament to Faith, Humility, and Selfless Service. Saturday, August 7th, 2004, was a wonderful day in the Life of Fr. Eric Justin Uma, his Relatives, Friends, and in the Life of the Holy Mother Church, a day when he answered the Lord God's call profoundly and was ordained to serve His people with unwavering dedication.

‎Following his Priestly Ordination, Fr. Eric Justin Uma was appointed Curate of Christ the King Parish, Kitgum, where his Compassionate Pastoral Ministry, Inspiring Leadership, and Dedication touched my heart and the hearts of many Parishioners. Through his humility and commitment, he became one of the most Wonderful Priests. "I like Fr. Eric Justin Uma's Hard Homilies and being quite an Outspoken Catholic Priest in the Archdiocese of Gulu, Uganda. He is more of a Human Rights Advocate who likes to see the Citizens treated humanely."

‎This Anniversary is especially meaningful to me because I had the privilege of serving Fr. Eric Justin Uma as an Altar Boy at Christ the King Parish, Kitgum, from 2005 to 2007, after he was transferred to Sacred Heart Seminary Lacor to serve as Vice Rector. Those years remain among the most memorable moments of my Faith Journey. Serving alongside him taught me the values of Reverence, Discipline, Humility, and Faithful Service to the Lord God and His Church. I remain deeply grateful for his Guidance and Fatherly Encouragement.

Eric Justin Uma has become one of the most cherished Priests, touching countless lives through his Compassionate Priestly Ministry, Inspiring Homilies, and Steadfast Commitment to the Gospel. His Priesthood has been a source of Hope, Encouragement, and Spiritual Renewal for many Families and Communities.

‎As I commemorate this special milestone, I thank Almighty God for His abundant blessings upon Fr. Eric Justin Uma's Vocation. May the Lord God continue to grant him Wisdom, Compassion, Integrity, Perseverance, and Grace as he faithfully shepherds the Lord God's People. May his Priestly Ministry continue to bear abundant fruit, and may he remain a beacon of Christ's love for all the Faithful. As the Parish Priest of Holy Rosary Parish-Gulu - the Archdiocese of Gulu, he's doing a remarkable work, and I'm grateful for all that he does there (Holy Rosary Parish-Gulu).
