Our Friends may depart from us,
Our Relatives may depart from us,
A day may come down, others leave us,
The night may come down, others leave us,
The spirit of misfortune darkens,
"Death's Misfortune, Heaven's Fortune"
Death is likely misfortune,
But Heaven is fortune,
We lose our bodies through death,
Still, through my fears, I will see,
Fear has to be taken away,
Our souls gain Heaven through faith in God,
Hope gently direct me,
It raises Heaven's gleefulness,
God demonstrates His love for us,
Even when we are sinners,
At a proper time, He becomes merciful and forgives us,
He allows us to be reconciled to Him,
Through the Passion of His Son, Christ Jesus,
We are saved by His life,
Our souls will be saved in the Lord.
