My heart is truly held with gleefulness,

As we are soon going,

To come closer to the end of May 2025,

With thirteen days left,

We shall have a beauteous celebration of two Amazing and Respectable personalities,

Who lived and shared the gift of life with us.

On Sunday, May 25th, 2025,

The Congregation will come to Christ the King Parish Kitgum,

To celebrate the lives of,

An Italian Priest and an Acoli Woman!

Put their lives for the service of people,

While they were still alive on earth,

They used the gift of their lives in a beautiful manner,

To serve the Lord God and Humanity.

I witnessed true service in the Vineyard of the Lord,

In the life of Fr. Pietro Tiboni

I witnessed true service for the people,

In the life of Mama Ketty Opoka.

"Fr. Pietro Tiboni and Mama Ketty Opoka Lived the Life of Service in a More Beautiful and Charming Manners."

They sacrificed their lives to the Lord God;

In serving God's people

Full with grace

They praised the Lord God,

And invoking His Holy Name,

The Lord God was truly with them,

I deeply reflect on their lives,

As they had a profound impact,

And now I have got inspirations from them.

An Excellent and Compassionate Missionary Educator,

Fr. Pietro Tiboni offered his life to serve the Catholic Church,

And the People of God,

Left his country Italy and came to Uganda,

And later he founded Christ the King Parish Kitgum in 1972,

He greatly helped Seminarians to become Priests,

With great teachings,

Providing the best Priestly Formation.

Deeply cared for the souls of God 's people,

Looking up for the good of spirituality,

Pouring the word of love, faith, and hope,

I am so gleeful that I served Fr. Pietro Tiboni,

During the Celebration of the Holy Mass,

At the Altar of the Lord as an Altar Boy,

At Christ the King Parish Kitgum,

In the Year 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009,

Whenever he would come for a visit to the Parish,

I don't want to say that I only enjoyed his homilies,

But I would love to say that I learned a lot from him,

And his touching and splendid homilies,

Honestly,

I won't forget that an Italian Priest - Fr. Pietro Tiboni.

Truly Beloved Mother and God's Servant,

Mama Ketty Opoka offered her life for service to Humanity,

With love,

In the field of charity,

With the full dedication and support for the progress of Meeting Point,

A reputable Organization that is serving many people,

The act of charity is the best!

Mama Ketty Opoka dedicated her life and taught us to be charitable,

To have a kindness heart.

I knew her as a tremendous and practising Catholic Christian,

From Christ the King Parish Kitgum

Whose life I am glad to have known about,

She left us a huge challenge,

And we need to check our lives,

If we are doing enough charity works to our brothers and sisters.

Behold,

Those who serves the Lord God,

With love, peace, and unity in His People

Will have the assurance of peaceful rest

In the Heaven bliss,

Eternal rest is the reward,

With the service of Fr. Pietro Tiboni and Mama Ketty Opoka

That has been faithfully and lovingly rendered,

To the Lord God and Humanity,

I am happy for these two precious lives,

And I offer my prayers with humility to the Merciful Lord God

And to our Saviour Christ Jesus,

To rest the souls of;

Fr. Pietro Tiboni and Mama Ketty Opoka

In the Glory of Heaven.
