The Education Week November 2023 which has been organized by the Education Department of Gulu Archdiocese is set to crown the revelry of Education Week 2023 with a Fundraising Dinner today Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Acoli Inn Hotel in Gulu City, Northern Uganda. The theme is "Reawakening and Repositioning the Church and Other Stakeholders to Transform Education in Acoli Sub-Region."
At the Fundraising Dinner, the Education department of the Archdiocese of Gulu will launch its 7-year strategic plan that will help transform education in the Acoli subregion. "Gulu Archdiocese will Have a Revelment Fundraising Dinner to Support Education" The funds that will be raised will be for the Annual scholarships for vulnerable children in secondary and tertiary Institutions to complete their studies in the Year 2024, Construction of the Diocesan Education Office and Teachers' Resource Centre, Rehabilitation of dilapidated school infrastructure, and staffing the Diocesan Education Office.
The Education Week November 2023 which began on Monday, November 13th, 2023 will end today Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at Acoli Inn Hotel, Gulu City beginning at 15:00 EAT, and His Grace Dr. John Baptist Odama, the Archbishop of Gulu Archdiocese will be the Guest of Honour.
As Acoli people, it's the time to Reawaken and Reposition the Church and Other Stakeholders to Transform Education in the Acoli Sub-Region. We should be serious about the issue of education and we should talk to all the learners to be mindful of their education and support them where necessary.
We must Reawaken and Reposition the Church and Other Stakeholders to Transform Education in the Acoli Sub-Region now not tomorrow, not next week, and not next year but now.
