World Youth Day 2027 will be a Catholic Festival that will take place in Seoul, South Korea, as it was announced on Sunday, August 6th, 2023, by Pope Francis (RIP) at the end of the Closing Celebration of the Holy Mass of World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. His Holiness Pope Leo XIV will lead the event, making it the first World Youth Day under His Papacy, having been elected as the Pontiff on Thursday, May 8th, 2025. It will also be the first World Youth Day to take place in Asia since Manila, Philippines, in 1995, as well as the first to ever be held in a Christian-minority Country.
Amazingly, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV will visit South Korea in 2027 for World Youth Day. The Successor of St. Peter will be in the City of Seoul for six days, journeying with the Youth and Young People. The World Youth Day 2027 will be in Seoul, South Korea, from Tuesday, August 3rd, 2027, to Sunday, August 8th, 2027. The theme of World Youth Day 2027: “Take Courage! I Have Overcome the World" (John 16:33). It’s important that the Youth and Young People should take courage and, above all, have faith in God and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
“His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to Attend World Youth Day Seoul, South Korea 2027: The Mother Church Being Close in the Pastoral Care of Young People.” The Youth and Young People need to feel the Presence of the Church, and the Church should move together with Her Young People, giving guidance – this is the meaning of the Synodal Church. The Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life: I am grateful for the Dicastery for the Laity, the Family and Life in their work as they try to enhance the Apostolate of the Lay Faithful, the Pastoral Care of Young People, and the Family. This is what Christ likes, and He will be very happy if everything is to be done for the good of God’s People.
The six-day International Catholic Festival for the Youth and Young People will be very eminent as the event draws many Youth from across the world as they are called to become Pilgrims of Hope, to heal loneliness and poverty, and to become true Witnesses of Peace in our world that is torn apart by divisions, conflicts, and wars. All the Youth and Young People should turn to Christ, have hope in God, and allow themselves to be driven by the grace of God in their life. As a Youth, you need Christ; you must change your life and have the courage to overcome the challenges that you always face. Without Christ, life will be very challenging. Strive to be with Christ always, even if you have a series of problems.
To the Youth and Young People in every part of the world, especially those who are facing challenges in life, “My Dear, Take Courage! Love God and have faith in Christ. Surrender all your problems to Christ. Give your life to Christ.
