Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re to preside over the Eucharistic celebration for St. John Paul II's 10th Anniversary of Canonization. "Holy Mass in Rome for the 10th Anniversary of the Canonization of St. John Paul II" will be a nice one as we will feel the thrill and the life of St. Pope John Paul II. The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated at 17:00 PM on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 in St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, and will be presided over by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, Dean of the College of Cardinals. The celebration of the 10th anniversary of the canonization of St. John Paul II responds to the desire of the faithful who want to express extraordinary gratefulness for the gift of his human person and his service, the Saintly Pope. The communication for Holy Mass for the 10th Anniversary was announced by the Vatican Foundation named after Pope Wojtyla.
"St. Pope John Paul II has been a nice Pope He has been Christ's Emissary until his death and he held the Church of Christ in his utmost heart with remarkable affection." The celebration for the 10th Anniversary of the canonization is for us all. We will give thanks to the Lord God that He gave us St. Pope John Paul II who joyfully served the Church and the entire populace. The Pope who loved Humanity and a Pope with a clement heart.
St. John Paul II was born on May 18th, 1920 in Wadowice, Poland, and died on April 2nd, 2005 in Vatican City; he was beatified on May 1st, 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI; and canonized on April 27th, 2014 by Pope Francis; St. Pope John Paul II's Feast day is October 22nd. He served as the Bishop of Rome and head of the Roman Catholic Church from October 16th, 1978 to April 2nd, 2005.
We are grateful that we have had Pope John Paul II and that we have St. Pope John Paul II.
