VERY SAD! ‎Saturday, November 5th, 1995 rose but went down to misery. The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels abducted you from Wao Central Village, Kitgum District, Northern Uganda, and killed you mercilessly, and that day was absolutely saddened. Your abduction was very painful and your death was very painful. You left when I was just five (5) years old. Today, Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 marks thirty (30) years since we lost you, Dear Father Christopher Anywar - thirty years since the world felt sorrowful, quieter, and emptier without your presence. Though time has moved forward, your memory remains deeply rooted in our hearts.

‎You were a father; you were a pillar of Strength, Wisdom, and Unconditional Love. You filled our home, your words once guided our paths, and your precious life once held ours through hardship. ‎Not a day passes without a thought of you - in the little things, in our achievements, in moments we wish you could witness. Your legacy lives on in the values you taught us, the kindness you showed, and the love you left behind. We are proud of you, Dear Father Christopher Anywar.

‎Though "In Loving Memory - 30 Years On After LRA Tragedy We Still Feel the Ache of Your Absence, Dear Father Christopher Anywar", we also feel the warmth of your spirit that watches over us, loving us, and reminding us to keep going on with life. Thirty (30) years may have passed, but love never fades, and lovely memories never die. I'll love you. I'll love you as your Son.

‎On this day, Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, I pray for you, I pray for your Soul, and I also pray for the Soul of My Paternal Grandfather, John Kenyatta Okot, who was killed in 1989 by the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels.

‎I thank you, in my own way. For though three decades mark our divide, your love still walks here by my side.

‎Your gift of life remains our inspiration, and your memory, our eternal comfort.

‎Beseeching the Holy Father, our Lord God to rest your Soul in Eternal Peace, Dear Father Christopher Anywar.
