For two days now, there has been a lot of so many mixed reactions both positive and negative as a Catholic Holy Mass was celebrated at the Anglican Canterbury Cathedral on Monday, July 7th, 2025, marking the Feast of the Translation of the Relics of St. Thomas Becket. "It was Stunning When Catholics Sang Salve Regina after the Celebration of the Holy Mass in the Anglican Canterbury Cathedral." The Celebration of the Holy Mass was led by the Apostolic Nuncio to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Miguel Maury Buendia, it was the first time a Papal Nuncio has celebrated at this kind of event.

This Annual Holy Mass, that was organized by the Catholic Parish of St. Thomas of Canterbury, is a lovely occurrence in the Anglican Cathedral, with the reflection on ecumenical cooperation. At the celebration, a relic of St. Thomas Becket’s bone, held by the Local Catholic Parish, was brought to the Anglican Cathedral for veneration, and those who attended received a plenary indulgence during this Jubilee Year of Hope. It was a joyful celebration at the Anglican Canterbury Cathedral.

The Beautiful Celebration included music by the acclaimed Choir Tenebrae, directed by Mr. Nigel Short, and concluded with a reception featuring champagne and chocolates.

But this one can be seen as a ecumenism, unity, and cooperation between the Catholic and the Anglican Church. "Christ want us to be one. He wants us to live in unity and He wants us to live in harmony." As Christians, our main goal for the faith in the Lord God should be genuinely to help us reach Heaven and share in the Glory of the Holy Father, our God.
