Emmanuel Nigel: "Joseph Kony's ICC Trial Option for War Crimes in Northern Uganda: My Father Christopher Anywar and Paternal Grandfather John Kenyatta Okot Killed During the Civil War - The Great Agony Left by LRA Rebels Commander Joseph Kony."

‎VERY WOEFUL! For two decades, we were in the time of insurgency and life was stressful. Life was so difficult between 1986 and 2006 when the people of Northern Uganda were having nightmares which developed a traumatic situation and the war left hardship for many families. Even now the healing is a gradual process. From 1986 to 2006, Northern Uganda suffered a civil war between the Government of Uganda and the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) rebels. The civil war greatly affected the Acoli and Lango sub-regions: leaving more than 100,000 people killed; over 2 million people were displaced, and the local economy was completely destroyed. Many children were also abducted, there was no Peace, and education was extremely affected. Life was devastated and it was the worst experience until the Acoli Religious Leaders' Peace Initiative (ARLPI) was formed which played a key role in the Peace Dialogue for the restoration of Peace in our land.

‎The case against Joseph Kony at the International Criminal Court - ICC (ICC): The International Criminal Court (ICC) Lawyers have over the weeks revealed the Trial Option for the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA Commander Joseph Kony as he faces 39 charges of war crimes and crimes against Humanity, allegedly committed in Northern Uganda. The Trial Option is on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, with the composition of Judges; Althea Violet Alexis- Windsor as the Presiding Judge, Judge Julia Motoc, and Judge Haykel Ben Mahfoudh, and in that Trial Option there will be a confirmation of charges against Joseph Kony but in his absence. The Trial Option has been scheduled and will begin on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, and end on Thursday, September 11th, 2025 with the presentation of the oral submission. "I don't see the success of the Trial Option by the ICC Lawyers and I don't ponder if the Jury will proceed with the case as Joseph Kony is not present at the ICC Headquarters in Hague. I don't see any hope."

‎It's an emotional moment and hearing any news about the Odek's man is just melancholic. "Joseph Kony's ICC Trial Option for War Crimes in Northern Uganda: My Father Christopher Anywar and Paternal Grandfather John Kenyatta Okot Killed During the Civil War - The Great Agony Left by LRA Rebels Commander Joseph Kony." The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) rebels left us in despair in Wao Central Village, Kitgum District, Northern Uganda. Joseph Kony founded unfortunate Army an army rebel group. The killing is so excruciating. The loss is immeasurable, my Father Christopher Anywar (1995) and my Paternal Grandfather John Kenyatta Okot (1989), but so is the love they have left behind. We'll always cherish them. We'll always love them. Losing my Father at the age of 5 and my Paternal Grandfather during the war between the LRA and the Government of Uganda feels like losing a part of myself. Mr. Christopher Anywar and Mr. John Kenyatta Okot were the men who gave me life, taught me values through my meditation, and showed me unseen love. I will always be grateful for them. Rest well, Dad Christopher and John.

‎"Quite woeful! Odek Village, Northern Uganda gave us an awful birth. Odek Village, Northern Uganda gave us an inhumane person. Odek Village, Northern Uganda gave us a bad man. A very unfortunate personality in the name of Joseph Kony and his gift of life has been completely ungracious. I wish we could get comforted and healed after the long Joseph Kony's atrocities in Northern Uganda."

‎My dear Father Christopher Anywar and my dear Paternal Grandfather John Kenyatta Okot have gone. They have gone in the hands of the LRA Rebels. They were killed mercilessly. I wish they could be with the Lord God. I wish they could find the Peace of Christ. I always pray that my Father, my Paternal Grandfather, and all those killed during the civil war the find the repose of their souls in Eternity. Even though my heart aches, I find comfort knowing they are all in a better place, free from pain and human distress. I will cherish them until I hopefully meet them again.
