The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord is a profound celebration that ends the Christmas Season and takes us into Ordinary Time of the Church’s Calendar. This event is not only a historical moment in the life of Jesus but also a spiritual turning point in the divine plan of salvation for mankind. It's a time for the reflection on the transformative power of Baptism in our own lives and to renew our commitment to living as children of God and as baptized Christians.

"The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord: The Renewal of Keeping our Baptismal Promises." The Baptism of Jesus is a call to us to share in His life, to learn how to live our Christian life, and a profound renewal our baptismal promises. The Lord God acknowledges His beloved Son and we are to do well He will acknowledge us in His Eternal Glory. Our Baptism should always keep us united to Christ.

As we celebrate the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, our Saviour Jesus Christ, we should renew our baptismal promises and ask for the grace to live as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Living according to the Gospel teaching so that the Lord God becomes well pleased with us.
