Liberation remains a foundational moment in Uganda’s history, marking the end of a dark chapter and the beginning of Hope. Yet, its evolution into Sadness reflects the gap between Promise and Practice. For liberation to regain its true meaning, I believe there is a growing call for Renewal through genuine Democracy, Respect for Human Rights, Economic Justice, and Leadership that serves the people. Only then can Liberation move from Sadness back to Pride and Purpose.

The part of Sadness is deepened by persistent Poverty, Unemployment especially among the Youth, Corruption, and unequal distribution of National Resources. Liberation no longer feels like Freedom but rather a distant story that does not reflect their daily struggles. Liberation Celebrations contrast painfully with the Realities of Frustration, Hardship, and Limited Opportunity. One must understand the meaning of Liberation and eventually work towards it and on the other hand "One Must Feel True Liberation."
