Today, Monday, September 1st, 2025 is the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation with the theme: "Seeds of Peace and Hope" we mark the 10th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation as the Late Pontiff Pope Francis established 10 years ago with the publication of the Encyclical Laudato Si', that opens the "Season of Creation", and that runs from Monday, September 1st, 2025 to Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in which we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, and the celebration call and gather the Ecumenical Church from all over the Cosmos that comes together to care and pray for our lives, homes, and the world. "World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation 2025: Need for a New Spirit of Gratitude, Courage, and Wisdom for the Care of Creation." Always mind, care, and pray for our World - a world where we can have the realization of "Seeds of Peace and Hope."

In the Season of Creation, we highlight the cry of Creation - that is violated, exploited, plundered, polluted, and we respond with prayer and concrete actions for the care of creation. We have to care for our world so dearly so that we don't suffer the devastating consequences of climate change, deforestation, and pollution, the care of creation must become our role and responsibility where each of us protects, cares, and preserves the world. We are called to make the world the best place to live each day.

"Loving God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, we thank you for Your wonderful gift of creation. In Your goodness, You have given us this earth, with all its beauty and bounty.

Open our minds and touch our hearts with Your spirit of gratitude and wisdom, that we may recognize the interconnectedness of all life and Your common origin in Your creating hand. Grant us the courage to act in solidarity, to confront the injustices that threaten Your creation, and to be a voice for the earth when it is threatened."

As we mark the 10th World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation 2025, I thank the Late Pontiff - Pope Francis for establishing the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation and I thank His Holiness Pope Leo XIV who is mindful of the care for the creation and love that we live in a wondrous world. I thank the Excellent Initiative and the commitment for the Creation Day that is coordinated globally by the World Council of Churches, in collaboration with various Christian World Communions, Religious Leaders, Cultural Leaders, Partners, all the States, all the Organizations, and all the Individuals who are teaching and reminding us to care for our World and to show Environmental Justice. Let's make our world a "Seeds of Peace and Hope." Let's make our world a true "Seeds of Peace and Hope." Let's care for the creation.
