The Acoli War Debt Claimants Association to claim for war reparations in Northern Uganda was formed in 2005. But up to now, there is no compensation and everything is just deceitful. Two decades without cattle compensation. This absolutely appears bizarre.

"Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Acoli Leaders' Meeting: What is the Reality of the Cattle Compensation in Acoli?" Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is in Gulu City for a meeting with Acoli leaders to discuss issues on cattle compensation. How many times did the Government promise cattle compensation in Acoli? How many times were the meetings held just on the cattle compensation? Quite several times.

We had the Parliament of Uganda sitting in Gulu to discuss the issues affecting Northern Uganda. What is the relevance and the outcome of that Parliament Hearing? I have not seen any serious implementations. There is no improvement. Everything is just the same. It's like we never had the Parliament of Uganda sitting in Gulu.

This meeting on the cattle compensation between Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the Acoli Leaders being held at Gulu Core PTC in Pece-Laroo Division, Gulu City, Northern Uganda is not serious and its bearing fruit is completely doubtful. It will be a miracle if the War Debt Claimants register success this year 2025.

Another beautiful day is gone and Monday, August 18th, 2025 is being wasted and time is wasted again. It's just a slack kind of a meeting and perhaps he just wants to find out what the Acoli thinks now and then. "I know the Acoli Leaders may need to buy courage such that they can talk to Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and they are not yet quite ready to buy the courage now. We may need to wait for another time."
