One day it happens.

Never would.

You discussed it,

Then put it back

On the shelf.

Then the day

You receive the call,

You look down

And see the face,

So loved,

Seemingly asleep.

But never to awake.

A kiss, a whisper

I love you so

Then farewell

For once

And for all!
