Under the Theme of the Jubilee Year 2025: "Pilgrims of Hope", the Jubilee of Catechists is celebrated from Friday, September 26th, 2025, to Sunday, September 28th, 2025. It's a sacred moment set aside in the Life of the Mother Church to honor, renew, and empower those entrusted with the mission of handing on the faith. Catechists are the faithful Servants who dedicate their time, energy, and love to teaching the Word of God, nurturing Christian values, and guiding us along the path of discipleship. The Jubilee of Catechists is a marvelous celebration and a call to deeper commitment. It will remind the Catechists that their work is not simply about teaching doctrines but about witnessing to Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour with their lives. The joy, patience, and dedication they embody make them true Missionaries in their Families, Communities, Small Christian Communities, Chapels, Parishes, and Dioceses.

‎In this Jubilee of Catechists, Catechists are invited once more to reflect on their vocation, draw strength from prayer, and renew their zeal for evangelization. It's also a beautiful moment for the Church to express gratitude for Her often silent but powerful contribution in spreading the Holy Gospel.

I am grateful! ‎I greatly thank the Catechists who taught us during our Catechism. I thank the countless Catechists who, past (those who have demised- may their souls find Eternal Contement) and present, have kept the light of Faith burning, and they are precisely walking forth with courage, creativity, and compassion in teaching the Holy Gospel and sharing the Presence of Christ.
