Piemonte House

For nearly ten [10] months, Piemonte House has been in contact and having a diplomatic talk with Mr. Johnson Nyeko when we had earlier shared our Concept Paper with him. Mr. Johnson Nyeko is an Acoli who hails from Lamwo District, Northern Uganda. He is a Philanthropist, an Educationist, and a wondrous human person. Following close communications with him Piemonte House wants to improve and focus on mentorship for Young Writers, Poets/Poetresses, Good Motivational Public Speakers, Entrepreneurship Skills, and Training of Life Skills in Kitgum. He has admired the initiative, shown a great sense of human love, and has always paid close attention to harken to every information, step, progress, and direction that Piemonte House is undertaking to fulfill its Aims, Objectives, Mission, Vision, and Goals. The Foundation looks forward to helping the Youth and the Young Ones for a moral life in different Communities and intends to start a Printing Press and Resource Centre to aid Young Writers, Poets/Poetresses, Good Motivational Public Speakers, Entrepreneurship Skills, and Training of Life Skills.
Piemonte House was founded on Monday, December 21st, 2009, by a Passionate Ugandan Writer, Poet, and Friend to Humanity called Emmanuel Nigel [Facebook: Emmanuel Nigel X: @EmmanuelNigel90 Instagram: emmanuelnigel1990], who hails from Wao Central Village, Amida West Sub-County, Kitgum District, Northern Uganda. The dream and establishment of Piemonte House are majorly to teach the General Public, the youth, School Pupils, and Students Writing, Poetry, and Public Speaking to focus and improve the culture of Writing, Poetry, Reading, and Speaking, and to raise the level of Writing and Poetry of upcoming Writers, Poets/Poetesses, and Good Motivational Public Speakers. Piemonte House is attracted by the name and chosen after drawing admiration for the beauteous region found in Italy called Piemonte which borders France in North Western Italy. It’s well known for its famous wines and fall truffles, mountains with ski resorts in the West and North, and the City of Turin. Piemonte House is a Private House with a clear mind well known for Writing and Poetry and offers services like Article Writing, Poetry, Content Writing, Blog Writing, Writing Reports, Freelancing, Proofreading, Transcription, Translation, Data Entry, Customer Care, Office Management, Official Letter Writing, Minute Writing, Internet and Email, Driving Skills, and Good Communication Skills. Emmanuel Nigel is a member of St. Egidio Community, Kitgum, a Secretary General for a Charitable and Community Development Organization called Northern Uganda Students’ Debate Forum/Acoli Debate League, Co-Founder, a Media and Communication Officer for Reach The Women, also a Participant and a Member for the Central Organizing Committee [COC] for the Education Week November 2023 in the Archdiocese of Gulu. Piemonte House is fully an independent House with the motto in Latin “Fiducia Et Amare” In English, it’s translated as “Trust and Love” and in Acoli, it’s translated as “Gen Ki Mar” The precepts of Piemonte House is its motto the House solely thinks every day and come out with some professional long or short articles and poetry. We are mindful of the Components of Writing; Voice, Ideas, Presentation, Organization, Word Choice, Grammar, and Sentence Fluency. The content can be either written in English or Acoli on the General Aspects of Life, Religious Affairs, Cultural Affairs, Social Affairs, Economic Affairs, Political Affairs, and reactions to some issues, comments/thoughts on any Individual Personalities around the world, posting Daily Readings to Christians so that they get the Word of God, and sharing some important news on the Piemonte House’s Website, YouTube, and WhatsApp Group Page. Piemonte House believes that writing/thoughts that are put in the form of writing can gradually help others, inspirational writing/thoughts that move Humanity in the best direction. “Teach Humanity and the World If You Can” through Professional Writing, Poetry, and Public Speaking Skills.
Besides, Piemonte House being a Charitable Foundation that has “Fiducia Et Amare” also thought it wise, decided and made an embodiment for support in 2017 we mobilized to give support to the Children suffering from Nodding Syndrome Disease and on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 following the pandemic of Coronavirus, COVID-19 which broke on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 in Wuhan, China and later spread all over, devastated the whole world, killing many people across the world, and in Kitgum District, Northern Uganda leaving very many young girls over 3,558 pregnant during the lockdown which lasted for two years and eventually dropping majority out of school, many children have also suffered because of divorce and separation of their parents leaving many young children and mothers with psychosocial problems and trauma. In the Post-Coronavirus, COVID-19, we have humanly reasoned and thought of physical and mental supports that have to be offered to the victims to help them be rehabilitated so that they can also make informed decisions for themselves amidst any difficult situations that might arise in the future and to be independent. Now and in the future, we want to build a family with one accord: the enlightenment of the hearts, minds, and souls of the afflicted people and to defend the human dignity of every human person.
Aims and Objectives:
1. To teach, give advice, and enlighten the General Public through Professional Writing, Poetry, and Public Speaking.
2. To inculcate in the hearts and the minds of the people that they should behold a decent life.
3. To communicate ideas most effectively in the form of Writing, Poetry, and Public Speaking.
4. To give a platform for learning and to achieve the greatness of Writing and Poetry as one means of learning.
5. To add the number of Writers and Poets/Poetesses such that their ideology in the form of Writing and Poetry is embraced with an intention for transformation.
6. To promote and facilitate positive behavioral change for non-schooling youth, pupils, and students.
7. To provide counseling and offer psychosocial support to victims of abuse and Gender Based Violence [GBV].
8. To promote independent decision-making by benefactors and pointing out to have a valuable and responsible living.
9. To promote social and economic development through training in Business/Trade, Agriculture, [Apiary, Poultry, and Piggery Fish Farming, among others] so that the youth can have better nutrition and income.
Mission:
We desire to give our minds through Writing, Poetry, and Public Speaking/Motivation Speaking.
We desire to serve above ourselves and promise to do our best to tell, teach, and transform people both young and old. Writing, Poetry, and Public Speaking is our Passion. We are greatly concerned to foster and aid the lives of people.
Vision:
“Our Vision is to better our Society and the World with a Collective Responsibility.” As the Nigerian Proverb says “It Takes the Whole Village to Raise a Child.”
Goals:
1. To build and have a firm expression of oneself with total courage and confidence.
2. To inspire young and old people to involve themselves in making positive decisions for the good of their prospects in life.
3. To restore the culture of Writing, Reading, and nice Public Speaking bearing in mind the need for teaching and learning.
4. To provide meaningful, informative Writing, and to see the development of the Society and the Whole World.
5. To skill the youth in entrepreneurship skills, to provide mentorship, and to teach life skills.

Piemonte House is gleeful as a Foundation as "Philanthropist and Educationist Mr. Johnson Nyeko to Install Satellite Internet Services with TDMA in Kitgum and Lamwo District." You can be kind and generous by giving something to others and Mr. Johnson Nyeko is being kind and generous to give something for others to aid earthly life. Living his life in support of the lives of others and the communities.
